یادگار امام در پیامی به اختتامیه همایش ملی شعر عاشورایی در گرگان از این واقعه بزرگ تجلیل کرد. به گزارش پایگاه اطلاع رسانی و خبری جماران، متن پیام حجت الاسلام و المسلمین سید حسن خمینی بدین شرح است:

برادران و خواهران گرامی برگزار کنندگان همایش ملی شعر عاشورایی

واقعه عاشورا صحنه تجلی تمام زیبایی‌های انسانی و نماد برجسته عروج ملکوتی و عرفانی انسان از ظلمت زمین است. حادثه کربلا اگرچه صدها سال پیش از ما واقع شده، اما بی شک آئینه تمام نمای امروز و فردای ماست. آئینه تمام نمایی که در آن به وضوح  مانایی روح انسانی و اسلامی در طول تاریخ پیداست و گذران ظالمان و ستم پیشگان در آن هویداست.

عاشورا از منظر شعر، حادثه‌ای فراتر از تخیل و احساس بوده که حقیقت شعر را دربر داشته و ورای تخیل از عنصر عقلانیت همراه با حماسه بهره‌مند است. شعر عاشورا اگر از هویت اصلی عاشورا فاصله گیرد و در وادی عشق ورزی‌های مجازی بیفتد بی‌شک هرچه باشد متصف به صفت حسینی نمی‌شود. شعر حسینی شعری است که در آن از عنصر عاطفه به عقل ناب رهنمون شده و در آینه آن شور و شعور نمایان است.

شعری است که از شهادت فرزندان پیامبر صلی الله علیه و آله پلی به آزادگی در زندگی زده، و برای انسان معاصر درس پایداری و استقامت در مسیر حق می‌دهد. بی‌شک تلاش شاعران آئینی در مسیر تبیین واقعه عاشورا با زبان حماسه و تعقّل قابل تحسین و تقدیر است، اما نباید از نقد شعرهای شعاری و عاشقانه‌های مجازی غافل بود که چشم اسفندیار شعر آئینی است.

در پایان از جمیع حاضران و شاعران گرامی التماس دعا داشته، به روح پر فتوح امام و شهیدان انقلاب و دفاع مقدس درود می‌فرستم و برای همه شما به خصوص حضرت آیت‌الله نور مفیدی آرزوی سعادت و بهروزی دارم.
