در پی درگذشت آیت الله عبدالعلی قرهی از یاران دیرین امام راحل، حجت الاسلام و المسلمین سبد حسن خمینی پیام تسلیتی صادر کرد. به گزارش جماران، متن این پیام بدین شرح است:

رحلت آیت الله حاج شیخ عبدالعلى قرهى طاب ثراه موجب تأثر همه دوستداران و علاقمندان ایشان شد. آن مرحوم که از یاران امام عظیم الشأن در دوران غربت و سختى بوده و از اعضاى قدیمى دفتر امام محسوب مى شد، همواره در جرگه ارادتمندان ایشان باقى ماند و عمر خویش را مصروف به خدمت به اهل بیت عصمت و طهارت سلام الله علیهم اجمعین نمود. اینجانب ضمن عرض تسلیت در گذشت ایشان به بیت معظم و آقازادگان محترم ایشان از خداوند سبحان علو درجات آن مرحوم را مسئلت دارم.
