در پی به شهادت رساندن حاج شیخ نمر باقر النمر رهبر شیعیان عربستان توسط رژیم آل سعود، یادگار گرامی امام پیام تسلیتی صادر کرد.

شهادت مظلومانه مرحوم مغفور حاج شیخ نمر باقر النمر رحمة الله علیه بى شک نقطه ننگ دیگرى در کارنامه دولت عربستان است. خون آن مرحوم که عمر خویش را در راه احقاق حقوق مردم آن سرزمین سپرى کرد، باعث احیاى تفکر اسلام ناب خواهد شد و به امید خدا به نتایج مطلوب خواهد رسید. خداوند او را با اولیائش محشور گرداند و به بازماندگان وى توفیق پیمودن راه او را عنایت فرماید.
