یادگار گرامی امام با اشاره به سخنان سخیف دونالد ترامپ علیه جمهوری اسلامی ایران گفت: سخنان غیر منطقى و غلط رئیس جمهوری آمریکا می تواند انسجام ملى را تقویت کرده و به توان و قدرت کشور در عرصه ى داخلى و خارجى بیفزاید .

حجت الاسلام و المسلمین سید حسن خمینی در حاشیه ی مراسم عزاداری شب دوم محرم هیات پیروان پیر جماران و وداع با پیکر آیت الله العظمی راستی کاشانی، در گفت و گو با خبرنگار جماران، در پاسخ به سوالی در خصوص سخنان اخیر رییس جمهوری آمریکا در مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد، اظهار کرد: سخنان آقاى ترامپ چنان که بسیارى از بزرگان هم گفته اند بیش از هر چیز مایه شرمسارى مردم آمریکاست و باعث انزواى دولتمردان جدید آمریکا شده است.

وی افزود: فکر نمى کنم نه محتوا و نه الفاظ به کار رفته در این سخنرانى در شأن هیچ رییس دولتى بوده باشد.

یادگار امام، استقلال سیاسی را بزرگترین دستاورد انقلاب اسلامى خواند و با برشمردن آن به عنوان یکی از بزرگترین آرزوهای مردم ایران از یک قرن پیش، گفت: امروزه استقلال سیاسى کشور همانند تمامیت ارضى آن از بزرگترین اموری است که تک تک مردم ایران نسبت به آن حساسیت دارند و آن را مجدّانه خواستارند و از همین رو سخنان غیر منطقى و غلط رئیس جمهور آمریکا می تواند انسجام ملى را تقویت کرده و به توان و قدرت کشور در عرصه ى داخلى و خارجى بیفزاید.
