امشب در کمال تأسف مطلع شدم که حضرت مستطاب استاد سید على صدر به رحمت خدا پیوست. این بزرگوار که در خانواده ى ما، با عنوان دایی جان آقا على شناخته مى شدند، برادر آیت الله سید رضا صدر و امام موسى صدر و دایى مادر من بودند. دل دریایى و روح بزرگ و طبع سلیم از ویژگى هاى آن مرحوم به حساب مى آمد. خدایش رحمت آورد و بر پدر و برادران و خواهرانش لطف و کرامت خویش را نازل فرماید و با اولیاء خویش محشور دارد.
