حجت الاسلام و المسلمین سید حسن خمینی در پستی اینستاگرامی به مناسبت روز خبرنگار با تبریک این روز به تمامی خبرنگاران و اصحاب رسانه، ویدیویی از سخنان خود در دی 1396 را منتشر کرد.

یادگار امام در این ویدیو می گوید: «وجود رسانه لازم است برای اینکه امور را شفاف می کند ولی خب آنهایی که اهل فساد هستند بیکار نمی نشینند و دوغ و دوشاب را قاطی می کنند، لذا در بسیاری از کشورها می بینید که آزادی های رسانه 100 درصد است اما فساد کم نمی شود. لذا رسانه و اصحاب رسانه و کسانی که در فضاهای مجازی کار می کنند باید خودشان بیش از همه نسبت به سلامت این فضا حساس باشند، والا حداقلش اینکه نقش بازدارنده خودش را ایفا نمی کند، یک مجموعه بهم ریخته ای را پدید می آورد که به همان اندازه حقیقت در آن گم است که در فضاهای 100 درصد بسته گم است.»
