خانواده مرحوم دکتر حسن حبیبی با صدور پیامی از رهبر معظم انقلاب، یادگار گرامی حضرت امام (س)، رئیس مجمع تشخیص مصلحت نظام، سران سه قوه و رسانه‌های همگانی تشکر و قدردانی کردند. به گزارش پایگاه اطلاع رسانی و خبری جماران، متن این پیام به این شرح است:

"من لم یشکر المخلوق لم یشکر الخالق

درگذشت فقید سعید جناب آقای دکتر حسن حبیبی مصیبتی سنگین برای جامعه علمی و دانشگاهی کشور و کلیه علاقه‌مندان به ایشان بود که امید است فضل و رحمت بی‌انتهای خداوند تبارک و تعالی، تحمل آن را بر همة ما ممکن و آسان گرداند.

ضمن تسلیت مجدد این غم بزرگ بر خود لازم می‌دانیم از محضر رهبر معظم انقلاب اسلامی، ریاست محترم مجمع تشخیص مصلحت نظام، یادگار گرامی حضرت امام (س)، رؤسای محترم قوا، شهردار محترم تهران، مسئولان کشوری و لشکری و دیگر مسئولان خدوم نظام مقدس جمهوری اسلامی ایران، رسانه‌ها و روزنامه‌های خبری، صدا و سیمای جمهوری اسلامی ایران، مراکز علمی، پژوهشی، دانشگاهی، صنوف و آحاد مردم قدر‌شناس میهن عزیزمان، که با ارسال پیام و اظهار لطف و همدردی و همچنین حضور در مراسم تشییع، خاکسپاری و ترحیم دانشمند فرزانه دکتر حسن حبیبی موجبات شادی روح آن مرحوم و تسلی خاطر بازماندگان را فراهم نمودند صمیمانه تقدیر و سپاسگزاری و آرزوی سلامتی و بهروزی نماییم. همچنین بدین وسیله اعلام می‌دارد، حسب وصیت آن فقید سفر کرده مراسم شب هفتم و چهلم ایشان برگزار نمی‌گردد و هزینه‌های مربوطه صرف امور خیریه خواهد شد".
