مراسم سالگرد درگذشت مرحوم حاج سيد احمد خميني روز پنجشنبه درحرم مطهر بنيانگذار جمهوري اسلامي ايران برگزار شد.

در این مراسم که با اقامه نماز مغرب و عشاء به امامت حجت‌الاسلام والمسلمين سيد حسن خميني و ادعیه‌خوانی و مرثیه‌سرایی همراه بود، یاد حاج سیداحمدخميني، فرزند برومند امام راحل گرامی داشته شد.

در اين مراسم حجج الاسلام و المسلمین سیدحسن خمینی، سيد علی خمینی ،سيد یاسر خمینی ، آیت الله موسوی بجنوردی، مرتضی اشراقی ، علی اشراقی ،موسوی لاری، امام جمارانی، قدرت الله علیخانی، محمد علی انصاری، محمدرضا خاتمی و جمعي از اعضای بیت امام حضور داشتند.

سید احمد خمینی، يادگار حضرت امام خمینی(ره) در 25 اسفند سال 1373 در اثر سكته قلبي در تهران درگذشت و در حرم مطهر امام خمینی(ره) به خاک سپرده شد.
