نماینده تهران در مجلس هشتم گفت: سید حسن خمینی تمایلی به حضور در عرصه انتخابات ریاست جمهوری ندارد و بعید است خاتمی هم وارد عرصه انتخابات شود.

حسن غفوری فرد نامزد مرحله دوم انتخابات مجلس نهم در تهران در خصوص برخی اظهارت درباره نامزدهای اصلاح طلبان برای انتخابات ریاست جمهوری گفت: آقای عارف همیشه یکی از گزینه‌های مطرح اصلاح طلبان در این زمینه است و «جدی ترین گزینه» پیش روی اصلاح طلبان است.

غفوری فرد همچنین با بیان اینکه آقای خرازی نامزدی جدی نیست ادامه داد: آقای خاتمی را نیز بعید می‌دانم وارد عرصه انتخابات ریاست جمهوری شود، همچنان که در انتخابات سال 88 از عرصه کنار کشید.

وی در پاسخ به اینکه چقدر موضوع ورود سید حسین خمینی را جدی می‌دانید، اظهار داشت: بعید می‌دانم ایشان وارد این عرصه شود و خودش مایل است به کارهای علمی و پژوهشی بپردازد.

نماینده تهران در پاسخ به این پرسش که رویکرد اصلاح طلبان برای انتخابات ریاست جمهوری بعد چه باید باشد به خبرآنلاین گفت: آنها باید حتما نسبت به فتنه 88 اعلام برائت کنند چرا که اگر این کار را نکنند شورای نگهبان صلاحیت آنها را تائید نمی‌کند.

غفوری فرد گفت: بعید می‌دانم در یک فاصله زمانی کوتاه مدت، مردم رویکرد مثبتی نسبت به اصلاح طلبان داشته باشند.
