به گزارش جهان، حجت‌الاسلام زارع فومنی دبیر کل جبهه مردمی اصلاحات عصر امروز دوشنبه با حضور در غرفه خبرگزاری فارس در نمایشگاه بین‌المللی مطبوعات با بیان اینکه اصلاح طلبان در انتخابات حضور قدرتمندی خواهند داشت، گفت: اصلاح طلبان بر روی کاندیداتوری خاتمی بسیار اصرار دارند و معتقدند کسی به جز خاتمی رای نمی‌آورد.

فومنی با بیان اینکه خاتمی و هاشمی باید از نظر فکری به اصلاح طلبان کمک کند، افزود: البته اگر این افراد وارد فضای انتخابات نشوند، بهتر است چرا که در حال حاضر نامزدهای جوانتری همچون عارف مطرح هستند. وی با بیان اینکه اصلاح طلبان کاندیدای اجاره‌ای را قبول ندارند، گفت: افرادی مثل عارف، جهانگیری و نجفی می‌توانند اثرگذاری بیشتری داشته باشند.

فومنی با بیان اینکه اصلاح طلبان به دنبال یک کاندیدای طلایی هستند، افزود: همه می‌گویند خاتمی باید به عرصه بیاید اما متاسفانه خاتمی در حال وقت کشی است. دبیر کل جبهه مردمی اصلاحات تصریح کرد: ‌در حال حاضر گروه‌های تندرو همچون مشارکت و مجاهدین برای حضور در انتخابات فعال شده‌اند تا فضا را آلوده کنند. لذا اگر قرار باشد خاتمی با این افراد به انتخابات بیاید، مشکل ساز خواهد بود.

وی در خصوص دیدار اخیرش با عارف گفت: عارف کاندیداتوری خود را تکذیب نکرد. فومنی خاطرنشان کرد: خاتمی برای حضور در انتخابات باید شفاف صحبت کند و معتقدم اعلام برائتش از فتنه همان رای دادنش در انتخابات مجلس بود.

دبیر کل جبهه مردمی اصلاحات با اشاره به اینکه باید دولت وحدت ملی که مورد تاکید هاشمی نیز قرار دارد، در جامعه شکل بگیرد، افزود: بزرگانی همچون خاتمی و هاشمی می‌توانند اتاق فکر اصلاح طلبان باشند و میدان را به نیروهای جوان‌تر بسپارند.

وی با بیان اینکه عدم اعلام برائت خاتمی از فتنه در سال 88 یک اشتباه استراتژیک محسوب می‌شد، گفت: باید با سران فتنه برخورد قضایی شود و معتقدم در حال حاضر مشکل اصلی خاتمی تناقض گویی و عدم ثبات فکری است.

فومنی با تاکید بر اینکه هر کاندیدایی باید معاون اول و کابینه خود را مشخص کند، یادآور شد: مردم قطعا در این دوره به برنامه کاندیداها رای خواهند داد.

دبیر کل جبهه مردمی اصلاحات با بیان اینکه مواضع اصولگرایان معتدل همچون لاریجانی و قالیباف در قبال فتنه خوب نبود، گفت: در این دوره هر کسی که به امام، انقلاب و رهبری علاقه دارد وارد انتخابات خواهد شد.

وی درباره کاندیداتوری سید حسن خمینی نیز یادآور شد: ورود سید حسن خمینی به انتخابات به نام امام خمینی آسیب می‌زند و خود وی نیز بارها اعلام کرده که وارد عرصه ریاست جمهوری نخواهد شد.
