مجید محتشمی سخنگوی جبهه اصلاح‌طلبان در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار سیاسی خبرگزاری فارس، درباره دیدار صبح امروز این جبهه با خاتمی اظهار داشت: اعضای ده‌گانه احزاب اصلاح‌طلب در این دیدار دو ساعته به طرح دیدگاه‌های خود پرداختند و آقایان کواکبیان، حق‌شناس، باقرزاده، بهمن‌زاده، صفرپور و خانم فرح خسروی و بنده نیز در این جلسه صحبت‌هایی را مطرح کردیم.

محتشمی با بیان اینکه محور سخنان این افراد تأکید بر انسجام اصلاح‌طلبان و ایجاد جبهه واحد برای انتخابات بود افزود: در این جلسه پیشنهاد شد که خاتمی به صورت رسمی رهبری سیاسی جبهه اصلاحات را بپذیرد چراکه در حال حاضر وی رهبر معنوی جبهه است.

سخنگوی جبهه اصلاح‌طلبان ادامه داد: در این جلسه همچنین پیشنهاد شد که خاتمی در چارچوب یک منشور رهبری سیاسی جبهه اصلاحات را بپذیرد و این منشور را با رایزنی‌های خود تهیه کند تا اصلاح‌طلبان در قالب یک مدل نهایی به انتخابات ورود کنند.

وی با اشاره به اینکه این مدل در حال حاضر در قالب طرح مناسک مطرح است، افزود: اصلاح‌طلبان به دنبال این هستند که بتوانند اجماع کلی بر روی یک نامزد نهایی برای ورود به عرصه انتخابات داشته باشند.

محتشمی گفت: در این جلسه تمام اعضاء تأکید داشتند که نامزد اول اصلاح‌طلبان خاتمی است و در این جلسه مطرح کردند که خاتمی هر‌گاه صلاح دید آمادگی خود را برای حضور در انتخابات اعلام کند تا بتوانیم از این طریق انتخاباتی رقابتی و پرشور داشته باشیم.

این فعال اصلاح‌طلب درباره درخواست اصلاح‌طلبان برای نامزدی خاتمی و واکنش خاتمی به این درخواست گفت: خاتمی اعلام کرد که پس از بررسی رویکردها و اوضاع کلی کشور در جلسه بعدی بیشتر به این مسئله می‌پردازد.

سخنگوی جبهه اصلاح‌طلبان در ادامه با اشاره به صحبت‌های خاتمی اظهار داشت: خاتمی در ابتدای این جلسه ضمن گرامیداشت حماسه حسینی گفت: حماسه عاشورا آثار گران‌بها و سرمایه اجتماعی عظیمی را برای اسلام و تشیع داشته است که امروز به نظام اسلامی تبدیل شده است.

وی ادامه داد: خاتمی همچنین گفت که امام راحل از این سرمایه اجتماعی که محصول عاشورا بود نظام اسلامی را در ایران پی‌ریزی کردند که می‌تواند برای سایر کشورهای اسلامی الگو باشد.

محتشمی با بیان اینکه خاتمی ضمن انتقاد از مشکلات اقتصادی و معیشتی مردم بخشی از آنها را ناشی از تحریم‌های گسترده علیه کشورمان دانست خاطرنشان کرد: خاتمی در عین حال تأکید داشت که می‌توان این مسائل را مدیریت کرده و بر مشکلات فائق آید.

سخنگوی جبهه اصلاح‌طلبان افزود: خاتمی با توجه به حمله رژیم صهیونیستی به مردم مظلوم غزه نیز اقدام اخیر رژیم صهیونیستی و حامیان آنها را محکوم کرد و گفت: آنها با سکوت خود تأیید حملات رژیم صهیونیستی روی دیگر حقوق بشر را نشان دادند.

محتشمی در پایان گفت که در ادامه رایزنی جبهه اصلاح‌طلبان با شخصیت‌ها و افراد برجسته قرار است در اواخر هفته آینده ما با سید حسن خمینی نیز دیدار داشته باشیم.
