سمیه بروجردی فرزند شهید بروجردی در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار سیاسی خبرگزاری فارس با اشاره توهین های اخیر نعیمه اشراقی به خانواده های شهدا و موضع گیری خوب حجت‌الاسلام سیدحسن خمینی درباره نظر امام (ره) نسبت به مسئله حجاب و تأکید ایشان بر حفظ آن و همچنین تقیدات کامل امام(ره) به احکام دینی، اظهارداشت: این موضع گیریها خوب بود و از آنجا که آن خانم به خانواده های شهدا هم توهین کرد، ‌ما خوشحال می‌شدیم که حجت‌الاسلام سید حسن خمینی در سخنان خود، از خانواده شهداء دلجویی می کرد.

فرزند شهید بروجردی با تأکید بر اینکه خانواده شهداء پایه‌های ارزشی انقلاب هستند، تصریح‌کرد: دفاع از این قشر به نفع انقلاب است و توقع از سیدحسن خمینی نیز به همین جهت است از این رو چون در این زمینه صحبتی نکرده‌اند جای خالی‌اش احساس می‌شود.

وی در پایان خاطرنشان کرد: توقع داریم مسئولان اگر در جایی نسبت به خانواده شهدا اهانتی صورت می‌گیرد، موضع بگیرند چرا که این قشر، قشر ارزشی هستند و دفاع از این قشر دفاع از این انقلاب است.
