محسن کوهکن عضو شورای مرکزی جبهه پیروان در گفت‌و‌گو با خبرنگار حوزه احزاب خبرگزاری فارس،‌ با اشاره به برخوردهای سیاسی موسسه تنظیم و نشر آثار امام خمینی (ره) با تحریف سخنان ایشان اظهار داشت: این موسسه باید با حساسیت بیشتری با این نوع مسائل برخورد کند،‌ البته صحبت‌های اخیر سید حسن خمینی در تبیین نظرات حضرت امام (ره)، به نوعی جبران کم‌کاری موسسه امام بود.

کوهکن با تاکید بر اینکه موسسه امام نباید نسبت به تحریف‌ها، بی‌تفاوت باشد یا حتی دیرهنگام موضع‌گیری کند،‌افزود: موضع‌گیری فردی زیبنده موسسه مذکور نیست و ما علاقه داریم این موسسه طوری عمل کند که از هرگونه تعرض منتقدین و مخالفان به خاطر قداست امام راحل، ‌محفوظ بماند.

عضو شورای مرکزی جبهه پیروان درباره پیشنهاداتی مبنی بر اینکه وظیفه این موسسه به یک نهاد دیگری ارجاع شود تصریح کرد: اگر هر نهادی به صورت خودجوش این کار را کند منعی ندارد اما انتظار است موسسه تنظیم و نشر آثار امام خمینی (ره) برای حفظ حرمت حضرت روح‌الله از برخی فردیات و نفوذ جریانات مصون بماند تا جایگاه و استقلالش مخدوش نشود.
