به گزارش پايگاه اطلاع رساني رياست جمهوري، جمعی از مسئولان و مقام‌های بلندپایه کشور عصر جمعه با حضور در منزل حجت‌الاسلام والمسلمین دکتر حسن روحانی رییس‌ جمهوری، رحلت والده ایشان را تسلیت گفتند.

آیت‌الله هاشمی رفسنجانی رییس مجمع تشخیص مصلحت نظام، حجت الاسلام والمسلمین محمدی گلپایگانی رییس رفتر رهبر معظم انقلاب، حجت‌الاسلام والمسلمین سیدحسن خمینی یادگار امام راحل، معاون اول رییس‌ جمهوری، تعدادی از معاونین رییس جمهوری و وزیران با حضور در منزل رییس‌ جمهوری، رحلت والده ایشان را تسلیت و برای دکتر روحانی و بازماندگان، سلامتی و صبر مسألت کردند.

بانوی مؤمنه و مجاهده خانم سکینه پیوندی مادر رییس‌ جمهوری محترم که در دوران نهضت اسلامی و دفاع مقدس رنج‌های فراوانی کشید، پس از تحمل چند ماه بیماری و در سن ۹۰ سالگی، صبح جمعه دار فانی را وداع گفت.

مراسم تشییع و خاکسپاری آن مرحومه صبح روز یکشنبه دوم فروردین ۹۴ در سرخه و مراسم ختم در همان روز در سرخه و همچنین در سمنان و مراسم در تهران نیز صبح روز چهارشنبه پنجم فروردین در مدرسه عالی شهید مطهری تهران برگزار خواهد شد.
