محسن خزعلی فرزند مرحوم آیت‌الله ابوالقاسم خزعلی با روایت دیدار خود با سیدحسن خمینی گفت: سیدحسن خمین تاکید کرد که رهبری آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای در این سالها آنقدر مدبرانه و حکیمانه بوده که باعث ایجاد قدرت و اقتدار بالایی در سطح منطقه شده است.
