علی شکوری راد در گفت‌و‌گو با خبرنگار سیاسی ایلنا درباره نقش آیت‌الله هاشمی در عرصه سیاسی کشور با اشاره به اینکه خلاء وجودی آیت‌الله هاشمی را شخص دیگری نمی‌تواند پر کند، گفت: نبود آیت‌الله هاشمی ضایعه برزگی است و کسی نخواهد توانست جایگاه ایشان را به‌دست بیاورد او ذخیره اجماعی برای نظام و کشور بود.

او تاکید کرد: حتی کسانی که در زمان حیات آیت‌الله هاشمی او را به انواع و اقسام تهمت‌ها، متهم می‌کردند بعداز رحلت ایشان دست از رفتارهایشان برداشتند و به تجلیل از ایشان پرداختند و به این اتفاق نظر رسیدند که مشی او برای سیاست‌ورزی درست بوده است.

دبیر کل حزب اتحاد ملت خاطرنشان کرد: آیت‌الله هاشمی معتقد بود باید در سیاست کشور اعتدال وجود داشته باشد، جناح‌ها به‌هم نزدیک شوند و نباید نیروی کارآمد را حذف کرد که اگر این‌چنین رفتارها ادامه پیدا کند، برای سیاست کشور بسیار مفید است.

او خاطرنشان کرد: افراطیون بعداز دیدن تشییع باشکوه آیت‌الله هاشمی به تکاپو افتادند که قافیه را باخته‌اند و کنترل اوضاع از دستشان خارج شده است و دست و پا می‌زنند که شرایط را به قبل از رحلت ایشان برگردانند.

شکوری‌راد افزود: بخشی از بدنه اصولگرایان به این نتیجه رسیدند که کاملا در قضاوتشان نسبت به آیت‌الله هاشمی اشتباه کرده و برای همین تجدیدنظر کرده‌اند که ایشان یک ذخیره اجماعی برای نظام بوده‌اند.

او با بیان اینکه شخصیت آیت‌الله هاشمی بعداز رحلتش هم می‌تواند ذخیره‌ای برای سیاست کشور باشد، عنوان کرد: گفتمان آیت‌الله هاشمی که بر پایه اعتدال بود اگر تداوم پیدا کند می‌توانیم امیدوار باشیم که عرصه کمتر برای افراطیون گشوده شود.

شکوری‌راد تاکید کرد: به نظر می‌رسد افراطیون تلاش‌های بسیار زیادی می‌کنند که این گفتمان نماند. اگر این وضعیت که بعد از فوت آیت الله هاشمی به وجود آمده است و اجماعی که شکل گرفته استمرار پیدا کند ممکن است در طول زمان اثرات مثبتی داشته باشد.

دبیرکل حزب اتحاد ملت درباره اینکه اگر سیدحسن خمینی بخواهد برای انتخابات دوره‌ای خبرگان شرکت کند از وی حمایت خواهد شد یا خیر پاسخ داد: در صورتی که سید حسن خمینی بخواهد در انتخابات خبرگان ورود کند قطعا از سوی جریان اصلاحات مورد حمایت قرار خواهد گرفت.

او تاکید کرد: جریان اصلاح‌طلب از سیدحسن خمینی نه تنها در انتخابات مجلس خبرگان بلکه در هر انتخاباتی که ایشان بخواهد شرکت و اعلام نامزدی کند، حمایت خواهد کرد.
